Patricia then pursued a Master of Public Health degree with a focus in Health Education and Public Policy at Emory University from 1992 to 1994. Afterwards, they attended the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, where they obtained their MD degree in Medicine from 1993 to 1997.
