From 1982 to 1984, they attended the Columbia School of Broadcasting where they earned an Associate's degree in Broadcast Engineering and Communications. Rudy then returned to Sacramento City College and completed an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Architecture and Liberal Arts in 1985.
