Stephen Sonnenfeldt-Goddard has extensive experience in compliance and enterprise risk management. Stephen started their career as a Radiologist Assistant at USTeleradiology in 2007 before transitioning into operations and regulatory affairs roles. Stephen then joined Saint Joseph's Health System as a Corporate Compliance Specialist in 2010. In 2012, they moved to Emory Healthcare, where they served as a Senior Compliance Analyst and later as a Regulatory Compliance Manager until 2015. Stephen also briefly worked at Broward Health as the Director of Compliance and Privacy Operations before joining GoHealth Urgent Care. At GoHealth Urgent Care, they held the position of Director of Compliance from 2015 to 2021 and currently serves as the Vice President of Compliance and Enterprise Risk.
Stephen Sonnenfeldt-Goddard pursued their education at Kennesaw State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a focus on Public Policy and Legal Studies. Later, they went on to earn a Master of Public Administration degree in Governmental and Nonprofit Administration, with a specialization in Program Evaluation, from the same university. Additionally, Stephen holds several certifications related to healthcare compliance, including the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from the AAPC, as well as certifications in Healthcare Compliance, Healthcare Privacy Compliance, and Healthcare Research Compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA).
