Kamran Nabi

Kamran Nabi has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Kamran started their career in 2018 as an Optometrist at Boots Opticians and later worked as a Locum Optometrist at Specsavers in 2019. In 2020, Kamran joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an AWS re/Start alumni, gaining valuable experience in cloud computing. Kamran also worked at Steamhaus as a Junior SRE, where they worked with multiple customers' workloads within AWS and utilized tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Packer, and Jenkins to build scalable and secure infrastructure. Most recently, Kamran held the position of Infrastructure Engineer at cinch, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of the company's infrastructure. Currently, Kamran is employed at Goji as a Cloud Operations Engineer.

Kamran Nabi graduated from the University of Bradford with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Optometry. Kamran attended the university from 2009 to 2014. In addition to their degree, Kamran Nabi has obtained several certifications related to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Kamran acquired the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate certification in July 2021, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in May 2020, and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification in June 2020. Furthermore, Kamran Nabi obtained the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification in January 2023.
