Mads Elbrønd

Mads Elbrønd has extensive experience in event management and leadership roles within the cultural and sports sectors. Currently serving as Avdelingsleder kultur, fritid og integrering at Gol kommune since April 2014, Mads has held various positions including Avdelingsleder - Kultur og Fritid (konstitueret) and Kulturkonsulent. Prior experience includes founding Run + Experience Aarhus and serving as City Event Manager for notable events such as the Men's EHF EURO 2014 and Tall Ship Race 2013, demonstrating expertise in volunteer recruitment, safety planning, and event logistics. Mads has also managed large-scale competitions like the 9th TeamGym European Championships 2012 and the UEFA Under 21 Championship, receiving commendations for successful project execution. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Political Science from Aarhus University.
