Homero Tavares

Homero Tavares has extensive experience in aviation and public safety. Currently serving as a Boeing B737NG/MAX First Officer at GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes since September 2019, Tavares has also contributed to the Polícia Militar do Estado de São Paulo as a Policial Militar from June 2009 to January 2022, focusing on preventive policing and public safety. Prior experience includes functioning as a Flight Instructor at Aeroclube de São Paulo from April 2015 to September 2019, where skills in leadership and team coordination were honed. Additionally, Tavares worked as an Almoxarife at Viação Aérea São Paulo S.A. from November 2002 to February 2005, managing materials for aircraft maintenance. Tavares holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Uninove - Universidade Nove de Julho, a Superior Technology degree in Public Safety from the Polícia Militar do Estado de São Paulo, and a Commercial Pilot certification from Aeroclube de São Paulo acquired between 2013 and 2015.
