Karen Melo is an experienced privacy and data protection specialist currently serving as an Especialista de Privacidade e Proteção de Dados at GOL Linhas Aéreas since November 2022. With a strong background in privacy compliance, risk management, and data loss prevention, Karen has worked to ensure adherence to the LGPD through the development of policies, training programs, and incident management strategies. Prior to GOL, Karen held roles at Bradesco Seguros and KPMG Brasil, focusing on data subject requests, privacy by design methodology, and regulatory compliance. Educational qualifications include a post-graduate specialization in Cybersecurity and Digital Business Protection from FIA Business School and a law degree from Universidade Católica de Santos.
