Mauricio Derenne

Mauricio Derenne is an accomplished aviator with extensive experience in the aviation industry. Currently serving as a B737 NG/MAX First Officer at GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes since March 2020, Mauricio is actively gaining flight hours to qualify as a B737 Captain. Additionally, from November 2021 to November 2024, Mauricio holds the position of E120 Flight Instructor/Examiner at EPA Training Center and served as an E120 TRI/TRE Captain at Sunrise Airways for a brief period in 2024. Prior to these roles, Mauricio operated as a self-employed aviation adviser and dedicated 30 years to the Brazilian Air Force, achieving the rank of Colonel and excelling in various roles including Flight Safety Officer and Head of the Training Division. Mauricio's educational background includes an MBA in Logistics Management and a Master's degree in Remote Sensing, alongside an aviation officer degree from the Brazilian Air Force Academy.
