Mark Carstens

Mark Carstens is an experienced maritime professional with a robust background in vessel operation and management. Currently serving as Captain at Gulf Offshore Logistics LLC since August 2022, Mark holds a Master 200 ton Oceans License and is responsible for the safe operation of vessels ranging from 85 to 220 feet, alongside cargo handling and fuel transfer. Prior to this role, Mark was the International Training Manager and Captain at Metal Shark Boats, where training was conducted worldwide for government buyers and vessel deliveries were made to customers in Central America and the Caribbean. Mark's experience also includes significant positions such as Director of Ship Integration at AVMAC LLC, and various analytical roles in shipbuilding and risk management, including over 26 years of service in the US Navy. Mark's educational background includes studies at Tidewater Community College and training within the United States Navy.
