Dan Tapiero

Dan is a veteran Global Macro investor and a co-founder of GBI. In his 20 year career, he has worked as a portfolio manager and analyst with a number of well-known investors such as Stan Druckenmiller (Duquesne Capital), Michael Steinhardt (Steinhardt Capital), Julian Robertson (Tiger Management), Steve Cohen (SAC Capital), and Lord Rothschild (RIT Capital).

He founded a global macro fund, DTAP Capital, in 2004, co-founded a private U.S. farmland REIT, AGCOA, in 2007, GBI in 2008, and US Farm Trust in 2013. He is a member of the Economic Club of New York and Business Executives for National Security (BENS). Dan sits on the investment committee of the Lawrenceville School, where he is a board member. Dan graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in 1990 and an MA in History in 1991 from Brown University.
