Drew Ghysels

Drew learned at a young age that hard work, perseverance, and adaptability are the keys to success. As a sophomore in high school, he transferred to the Gilman School in Baltimore to pursue a more rigorous and well-rounded education. After graduation, he attended the University of Maryland College Park where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Drew started in financial services as an intern at Investec Asset Management and subsequent internships at Bank of America and Merrill Lynch, where he earned his Bloomberg Market Concepts certification.

In his time with GBI, Drew has become a fierce advocate for alternative investments like precious metals and digital currencies. Given today’s volatile environment and the multitude of factors influencing markets, Drew believes investors need diversification as a form of portfolio insurance to hedge against extreme market swings. This product knowledge has made Drew hungry to help clients safeguard their investments and give more people access to this growing space.

In the office, Drew helpsing the sales team expand into new territories, reach their goals and ensure their successes are accurately tracked and reported.
