Castro Sam

Castro Sam, PSP®, CEH, is an experienced security professional currently serving as the Security Command and Control Center Supervisor at Gold Fields since January 2020. In this role, Castro ensures the effectiveness of the Security Operations Center by supervising security analysts and managing 24/7 monitoring of security events to protect organizational assets. Since July 2018, Castro has also been an Information Security Consultant at Skillset-IT Consult, notably leading the design and implementation of a Patch Management Solution for Gold Fields Ghana Limited. Prior experience includes eight years as an Application and Infrastructure Support Engineer at Gold Fields, where Castro maintained high availability of over 200 servers. Castro holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Communication Technology from Radford University College and is pursuing a Diploma in Network Engineering from the National Institute of Information Technology.
