Johan Boshoff

Johan Boshoff is a seasoned professional in the field of geotechnical engineering, currently serving as VP of Global Tailings Management and Group Head of Tailings at GOLD FIELDS since September 2019. With extensive expertise in the design, construction, and operation of Tailings Storage Facilities, Johan is recognized as a discipline leader and subject matter expert. Prior to GOLD FIELDS, Johan held key positions at Golder Associates as Associate and Principal Tailings Engineer, and at SRK Consulting Australasia, where roles included Principal Consultant and Principal Engineer (Geotechnical). Johan's academic background includes a Master of Engineering in Geotechnical Engineering, a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Geotechnical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, all from the University of Pretoria.
