Matthew Crawford

Matthew Crawford has extensive experience in the field of geology and exploration, currently serving as Vice President of Greenfields Exploration at Gold Fields since 2009. Crawford has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Group Lead for Growth and Exploration and Principal Exploration Geologist in Corporate Development and Strategic Planning. Prior to this, Crawford worked as a Mine Geologist at Gold Fields Ltd. from 2003 to 2005. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Structural Geology from The Australian National University and a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Geology and Earth Science from The University of Queensland.
