Geoff Walsh

Head of Client Services at Gold-i

Geoff Walsh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Geoff is currently working at Gold-i as the Head of Client Services since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at C. Hoare & Co. where they held various roles including Customer Technology Support Manager from December 2020 to August 2022, Business Systems Platform Manager from October 2018 to December 2020, and Senior Enterprise Applications Support Analyst from November 2017 to October 2018. Before joining C. Hoare & Co., Geoff worked at Intelligent Environments from 2008 to 2017, where they served as the Service Operations Team Lead from January 2015 to November 2017 and as the First Line Support Team Leader from January 2013 onwards. Earlier in their career, they worked at Hamilton Grant Software as a Senior Support Consultant from January 2005 to March 2008 and as a Junior Support Analyst from January 2002 to December 2004. Geoff's first professional experience was as an English Teacher at Shane English School from July 2000 to August 2001.

Geoff Walsh obtained their 1st class honours BSc degree in Mathematics from the University of York from 1996 to 1999. Geoff then pursued an MSc degree in Mathematics from The Open University during the period of 2002 to 2007. In 2021 to 2022, Geoff acquired an Associate's degree in Piano Performance from Trinity College London. Additionally, they obtained the Associate Diploma in Piano Performance from Trinity College London in December 2022, as well as a certification in MCTS 70-433 SQL Server 2008 Database Development from Microsoft in January 2013. Geoff also achieved a Grade 8 piano certification from the London College of Music Examinations in 1994.
