Daphne Meeks

Daphne Meeks, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Daphne began their career as an Assistant Payroll Staff Accountant at Gold Key Resorts/Professional Hospitality Resources (PHR) Hotels & Resorts in 1994 before moving up to the role of Staff Accountant. In 2003, they joined Doubletree Hotel Norfolk as the Director of Finance before transitioning to the Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel and Waterfront Conference Center as Controller in 2006. Daphne then worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Corinthian Colleges, Inc. from 2008 to 2011 and as an Adjunct Instructor at Bryant & Stratton College from 2012 to 2014. From 2007 to 2015, they served as the Accounting Manager at Bauer Compressors. In 2015, they became the Controller at DoubleTree by Hilton before assuming the role of Director of Finance at Gold Key | PHR in 2017. In 2020, they became an Independent Consultant for Paparazzi Accessories at Diva D's Dazzle. Daphne Meeks has a wealth of experience in finance and accounting roles, demonstrating their solid expertise in the field.

Daphne Meeks, MBA obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from Walden University in the years 2006-2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Virginia State University between the years 1988-1992. Daphne also holds a Certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University, which was obtained at some point in 2023.
