Patricia M. Edwards

Patricia M. Edwards has extensive work experience in the field of journalism and publishing. Patricia M. started their career in 1990 at Index-Journal, where they served as a reporter, photographer, assignment editor, and copy editor. In 1996, they joined Sun Coast Media Group as an editor and writer before moving on to News Publishing Company, where they held the positions of Assistant City Editor, City Editor, and Lifestyles Editor at The Rome News-Tribune. Patricia M. briefly worked as the Features Editor at The Daily Tribune News in 2000 before joining CNHI as the Editor of The Union Recorder. At CNHI, they also served as the Publisher of The Randolph Guide and later as the Group Publisher and Regional Editor for the South Carolina Group. In 2012, they joined Civitas Media and Champion Media as the Group Publisher and Regional Editor of the SC Newspaper Group. In 2017, they became the Publisher of The Clinton Chronicle before transitioning to their role as Staff Writer at Index-Journal in 2018. Currently, they are working as a Sales Specialist at Gold Mountain Communications. Throughout their career, Patricia has demonstrated a diverse skill set, including reporting, editing, photography, and management.
