Sophorn Vongphrachanh

Sophorn Vongphrachanh, MBA, currently serves as the Executive Director of Marketing at Gold Strike Casino Resort since February 2023. Previously, extensive experience was gained at MGM Resorts International from October 2008 to February 2023, holding various roles including Executive Director of Marketing, Director of Marketing, and Interim Director of Human Resources. Notable achievements include leading the implementation of a company-wide Service Basics & Service Recovery program, successfully training over 1,200 employees. Prior experience includes serving as National Marketing Manager at MGM Resorts, achieving significant hotel revenue growth, and working as Special Events & Promotions Coordinator at Caesars Entertainment, where event strategies were employed to enhance revenue. Sophorn holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies from The University of Memphis and an MBA from Capella University.
