Karabo Letsapa is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and governance. Currently serving as a Financial Reporting Manager and Finance and Governance Specialist at the gold Youth Development Agency since October 2022, Karabo has previously held positions including Finance Manager at Cape Mental Health (May 2021 - October 2022), Deputy Director: Financial Accounting at the NW Office of the Premier (February 2019 - May 2021), and Senior State Accountant at the NW Department of Finance (February 2018 - January 2019). Initial experience includes roles as an Audit Clerk and Trainee Auditor at the Auditor-General of South Africa from March 2012 to 2017. Academic qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Science from the University of South Africa and a B. Com in Accounting from North-West University.
