Chris Hough 🤗 🫶

Chris Hough has worked in the software engineering field since 2016. Chris began their career at Coding Zeal as a Senior Software Engineer, where they engineered the foundations required to move a client off of MongoDB, built a detailed patient logic report utilizing recursion, and refactored the referral program website to improve lead conversions. Chris then moved on to Whiplash Merchandising Logistics as a Senior Full Stack Developer, where they engineered an Inbound and Outbound ETL Microservice with API to relay communications between 3rd party providers and their monorail in real time. Chris then went on to found RobotsBuildingRobots, LLC, where they were hired by companies to work on every part of the SDLC.

In 2018, Chris joined MediaPRO: Cybersecurity & Privacy Education as a Senior Application Developer, where they successfully launched LearningLAB, a platform that helps enterprises fortify their workforce against cyber threats and privacy breaches. Chris then moved on to WeaveUp as a Senior Backend Engineer, where they led hiring, onboarding, and training of engineers for the backend team, and planned and architected Licensing 2.0.

In 2019, Chris joined VYNYL as a Senior Software Engineer and onDiem as Director of Engineering. Chris then joined dutchie as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led development and served as the Technical Lead for the launch of a Chain Billing Project. Finally, in 2022, Chris joined Goldbelly as a Senior Software Engineer, where they are part of the team and uses the product all the time to order their favorite foods across the country.

Chris Hough earned a Masters in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Illinois College.
