Ellie Strejlau

Ellie Strejlau has worked in the software engineering field for the past 10 years. Ellie started as a Consultant/Senior Consultant/Technical Project Manager at NorthPoint Digital in 2011, where they lead development on multiple projects and managed the project lifecycle from initiation to execution and delivery. In 2015, they moved to EY as a Manager, IT Advisory, where they oversaw and lead development and architected solutions for multiple engagements. In 2016, they worked as a Senior Web Developer, and later that year they joined Phase2 as a Software Architect, where they architected data models, built interfaces, performed software releases, and provided process improvement and demo presentations. Ellie also mentored junior developers on projects and performed regular peer code reviews, as well as mentoring multiple direct reports. In 2018, they began working as an Adjunct Instructor, Computer Systems at Farmingdale State College, where they guided students toward the end goals of a course using textbook and extra materials. In 2021, they started their current role as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Goldbelly.

Ellie Strejlau obtained their Advanced Regents High School Diploma from West Babylon Senior High School in 2006. Ellie went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Computer Programming and Information Systems from Farmingdale State College between 2006 and 2011. In 2014, they completed a Master of Science in Information Systems from Pace University. In 2017, they obtained the HIPAA Awareness for Business Associates certification from HIPAATraining.com.
