Golden Apple Foundation
Ella Silvers is a Bilingual Special Education Classroom Assistant at Chicago Public Schools, with experience as a Sales Associate at Pure Barre. As a Golden Apple Scholar at Golden Apple Foundation, Ella has gained over 450 hours of classroom experience across various school settings in Illinois. Previously, Ella worked as a 4th grade dual-language teacher at Stowe Elementary School and as a Middle School Bilingual Specialist at Carlos Fuentes Elementary. Ella also has experience in after-school instruction, retail sales, and customer service. Ella holds a Bachelor of Science in Education in Bilingual/Bicultural Elementary Education from Loyola University Chicago.

Since our beginning, we have recognized master educators annually; and, these master educators help prepare the next generation of teachers through both our Golden Apple Scholars (for undergraduates) and Golden Apple Accelerators (for career-changers) programs.
