Golden Apple Foundation
Joyce Matanguihan is currently a 2nd Grade Teacher at Bowlesburg Elementary School and a Golden Apple Scholar with the Golden Apple Foundation. Prior to their current position, Joyce gained experience as a Short Term Substitute Teacher, Student Teacher, and 2nd Grade Math Enrichment Teacher in various schools. Joyce also has experience in retail as a Retail Associate at Ross Stores, Inc. Additionally, Joyce has held leadership roles at Augustana College and Chicago Jesuit Academy, showcasing their commitment to education and mentorship. Joyce holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Augustana College.
