Golden Apple Foundation
Yareli Alvarez Torres is a student teacher at Metamora High School, with professional experience in the education field developing lesson plans and activities to meet student needs. They have also served as a summer intern at Golden Apple Foundation, where they supervised classes, delivered lessons, and administered tests to high school students. Yareli is currently the President of Gamma Phi Omega, International Sorority Inc., where they coordinate events with other organizations. Additionally, they have completed a leadership and professional development course as a Student Fellow at Braven. Yareli holds a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics Teacher Education from Illinois State University.
