Merle Rosen

Merle Rosen is a seasoned artist and educator based in Cincinnati, with over 40 years of extensive experience in the art field. As a Golden Certified Working Artist at Golden Artist Colors since 2005 and the owner of Blackbird Studios since 1971, Merle has showcased work in numerous museums and galleries and has received various artist grants and fellowships. In addition to artistic endeavors, Merle has held multiple teaching positions, including Drawing Instructor at the University of Cincinnati from 1981 to 1999, and has served as Department Head for the Ceramics program at Thomas More College. Merle's academic background includes a degree from the University of Cincinnati, attained between 1967 and 1971.
