Tariq Ali

Tariq Ali has extensive experience in data architecture and engineering, currently serving at Golden Charter Ltd since July 2012, where responsibilities include developing and optimizing an enterprise data platform utilizing Azure resources. Prior to this role, Tariq served as an Oracle Analyst Designer/Developer, delivering IT system solutions, including business analysis, systems architectural design, and application development. Tariq's earlier experience at SunGard, from 2001 to 2012, includes roles as a Solution Modeller, Oracle Developer for a Nordic banking client, and Technical Consultant for a major Life and Pensions provider, showcasing expertise in functional design, migration support, and back-end implementation. Tariq began the career at SunGard as a Tester/Test Manager for DEFRA, demonstrating a strong foundation in testing and project delivery. Tariq holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Sciences from the University of the West of Scotland, completed in 1999.
