Matthew Crump began their work experience in 2007 as an intern in research and development at Genscape, Inc. Matthew then went on to work as a summer undergraduate research fellow in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 2008. In 2009, they interned as a private equity analyst at Audax Group. In 2010, they worked as an analyst at Audax Group, and in 2011, they became a managing director at Golden Gate Capital.
Matthew Crump attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Matthew Crump also attended St. Xavier High School.
