William Wang

William Wang is focused on opportunistic credit investments in the broader Industrials sector. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Wang worked as a Credit Analyst and Director of Research at Angel Island Capital. Prior to Angel Island Capital, he worked at Oaktree Capital Management in Los Angeles across both the High Yield Bonds group and the Senior Loans group, which he helped form. Earlier experiences also include working as an analyst at D.E. Shaw in Hong Kong and an investment banker at Rothschild in New York City. Mr. Wang has an MBA from Wharton Business School and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia (with Distinction).
