Bert Hill

Bert Hill has extensive experience in transportation and community service, currently serving as a Board Member for the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District since March 2015, contributing to the management of buses, ferries, bikes, and motor vehicles. As a Principal at Bicycle Commuter Services since 2001, Bert Hill specializes in bicycle safety education, serves as an expert witness, and produces safety videos. Bert Hill has been a dedicated volunteer with the San Francisco Bay Area Council since 1987, holding various positions including Den Leader, Scoutmaster, District Chair, and National Delegate. Previous professional experience includes roles at Bechtel Corporation for nearly 30 years in database administration, project cost engineering, strategic planning, and IT management, as well as serving as a Budget Analyst for the Office of the Governor in 1972. Bert Hill holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Urban Development from the University of Washington.
