Karen Buchanan

Karen Buchanan, ARM, is an experienced professional with a diverse background in claims administration, community organizing, and event production. Currently serving as a Comedy Show Producer and Host at Kaleidoscope Coffee Company Inc. since November 2022, Karen also has a long-standing tenure at the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District, where roles have included Claims Administrator and Assistant Clerk of the Board. In these capacities, Karen has managed workers' compensation claims, acted as a liaison among various stakeholders, and coordinated return-to-work programs. Additional experience includes community organization for Safe Routes to Schools, office management in real estate investment, and support roles in legal and engineering environments. Karen obtained the ARM Professional Designation in Risk Management from the Insurance Educational Association.
