Kate C. has a diverse work experience in the fields of creative direction, retail publications, product development, merchandising, and museum management. In their most recent role as an Associate Creative Director at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, they collaborated with the creative team to develop educational and branded products, signage, and other collateral materials. Kate also oversaw the development of publications, maps, brochures, and interpretive exhibits and was responsible for branding and marketing for Parks Conservancy e-commerce sites. Prior to that, they served as a Retail Publications and Content Manager, where they managed the retail publications program for eight National Park Service Visitor Centers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Additionally, they have experience in product development, merchandising, and sales supervision. In their earlier career, they worked as a Museum Specialist and Archaeological Collections Manager for the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, where they managed a large collection of archaeological artifacts and collaborated with researchers and educators. Kate also worked as a Museum Technician at History San Jose on a consultancy basis.
Kate C. began their education at Mililani High School from 1999 to 2003. Kate then attended Stanford University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature with an Interdisciplinary Emphasis. After completing their undergraduate degree, Kate pursued their Master of Arts degree at Stanford University from 2007 to 2008, specializing in the Graduate Program in the Humanities.
