Kathia Herschkorn

Kathia Herschkorn is an experienced professional in community liaison and interpretation services, currently serving as a Community Liaison for Student Services at San Rafael City Schools since May 2018. In addition to this role, Kathia is the business owner of KAH Interpreting/Translations Services, which has been operating since August 2010. Further experience includes serving as a Spanish Interpreter for Golden Gate Regional Center and MCOE, both since January 2010 and January 2005 respectively, and previously held the role of Spanish Medical Interpreter at Brighter Beginnings in 2013. Early career experience includes working as a Bilingual Advocate for the Victim Witness Assistance Project and the Domestic Violence Project from 1996 to 1999. Kathia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior Studies from the University of San Francisco and has completed training in Medical Interpretation at Berkeley City College from 2011 to 2014.
