Eric Lee has a diverse work experience in various fields. Eric started their career as a Tax Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick, where they managed tax engagements for corporate and individual clients. Eric then moved on to BDO Seidman LLP, where they served as a Senior Tax Manager, managing tax engagements for middle market corporate clients. Eric then joined Deloitte Tax LLP as a Senior Tax Manager and later as a Senior Manager of Learning and Development, where they developed training curriculum and managed tax engagements for consumer business clients. Eric also worked as an Accounting Instructor at San Jose City College, teaching Financial Accounting classes. Currently, Eric is a Lecturer and Director of Academic Quality and Training at Golden Gate University, where they instruct graduate students and oversees the lunch and learn workshop program. Outside of their professional work, Eric is an accomplished author, having published multiple mystery and suspense stories.

Eric Lee earned their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from UC Berkeley in 1991. Eric then pursued a Masters degree in Taxation at Golden Gate University, completing it in 1997.
