Mike Horne, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of leadership development and human resource management. Mike currently serves as an Executive Coach and Organization Development Consultant at Leadership Acts, Inc. Mike is also an Associate Professor and Program Director at Golden Gate University, overseeing the MS in Human Resource Management and MS in Leadership programs. Mike is an active member of the Organization Development Network, where they serve as a Board Member for the Organization Development Review journal. In previous roles, they have served as the Head of Human Resources for the Research Division at Gilead Sciences, the Global Leader of Talent and Development at Brocade, and the Head of Organization Development at Genentech. Mike also has early career experience in various Human Resources Leadership roles at Nortel Networks, Marriott International, Towers Watson, and other organizations.
Mike Horne, Ph.D. has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Labor Relations from La Salle University. Mike also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Development from the School of Public Affairs, American University. Furthermore, they obtained a Ph.D. in Human and Organization Development from Fielding Graduate University. In addition to their degrees, Mike Horne has also obtained the Immunity to Change Coach Certification from Minds at Work in 2014.
