Project Coordinator at Golden Health Initiative

James Young is currently a Project Coordinator at Golden Health Initiative. Prior to this, they worked as Desktop Support at Hospice of the Valley from February 2018 to November 2019. In this role, they participated in a complete agency-wide re-distribution of Levono laptops with a recently updated image loadout applied to all refreshed hardware. James also provided guidance to end-users, VIPs and Executives with tier one and tier two support via phone and in-person troubleshooting for onsite and offsite network, printer, and Citrix connectivity issues as well as software and hardware malfunctions to create well documented tickets for escalation or to assist to find a final resolution.

In addition, James created new user accounts through Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory, and administered required software installs on requested hardware for new hire employees. James utilized MS Project and communicated with team members to manage Windows 10 project time-table and milestones to prep for agency-wide Windows 10 upgrade. Lastly, they were responsible for imaging and distributing desktop stations and laptops to users along with administering and supporting desktop stations and any mobile device via SCCM, Active Directory, and MobileIron.

James Young has a Master of Business Administration / Master of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts from Collins College. James also has certification in Agile with Atlassian Jira from Coursera and certification in MCP 70/270 from Microsoft.

Their manager is Dan Golden, Chief Information Officer. James Young works with and Ryan Dow - Application Support Lead.
