Dan West has worked in the web development industry for over 20 years. Dan began their career in 1998 at the American College of Physicians as a Web Developer, where they developed a classified ad interface to enable journal advertisement searches, programmed an interface with a searchable index for Medicine in Quotations, and created programs to enable the sorting of articles by date and type. In 2001, they moved to MyEZSale.com as a Web Developer, where they streamlined the financial interface to speed up accounting reconciliation. Dan then moved to WorldWinner as a Lead Web Developer/Web Developer, where they designed and implemented the backend of the WorldWinner Championship (Bracket) Tournaments using OO Perl and implemented the entire front end using Mason, CSS, HTML, and Javascript. In 2008, they moved to GSN as the Director of Web Development, where they ran a team of 7 Web Applications Engineers and worked with the Product team to target deadlines based on the breakdown of tasks. Finally, in 2011, they moved to Nanigans as a Solutions Architect, where they successfully migrated the Nanigans platform from CentOS 6. 10 physical servers over to CentOS 7. 7. In 2021, they joined Golden Hearts Games as a Senior Solutions Architect.

Dan West attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Religious Studies.
