Denise McKenna has been in the media and quilting industry for over 30 years. Denise began their career in 1991 as the Managing Director at Monigle Associates. In 2007, they joined the Board of Directors at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. From 2001 to 2010, Denise was a self-employed Graphic Designer working from home on a part-time basis creating print and web design solutions for a variety of clients. In 2010, they joined F+W Media, Inc. as the Art Director where they were responsible for the overall visual presentation, brand identity and execution of print and digital products for the quilting group and their customers. In 2019, they became the Interim Art and Editorial Director at Golden Peak Media (formerly F+W Media). Currently, they are the Editorial Director at Golden Peak Media: Creative Enthusiast Network, where they are responsible for the overall visual presentation, brand identity and execution of print and digital products for several quilting publications.
Denise McKenna attended the University of Cincinnati from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design with a focus on Graphic Design.
