Michelle Garcia Briley

Michelle Garcia Briley has a diverse work experience in video editing and production. Michelle started their career as a News Intern at KCNC-TV in 2008 and later worked as an Assistant Editor and Office Assistant at idolum from 2010 to 2010. Michelle then joined High Noon Entertainment as a Transcriber/Logger and Assistant Editor, where they edited partial episodes and web content.

In 2012, Michelle worked at IMPOSSIBLE as an Assistant Editor, contributing ideas to storyboards and executing assistant editor duties. Michelle joined Craftsy in 2013 as a Video Editor and Technical Director, where they managed continuity and media and edited long-form educational crafting classes. Michelle also performed finishing techniques such as graphics, color correction, and audio sweetening.

From 2016 to 2018, they worked at PaySimple as a Website and Product Tutorial Video Editor/ Customer Care Specialist. During this role, they created tutorial videos and provided customer support. Michelle then worked as a Freelance Video Editor specializing in online educational content from 2018 to 2023 before joining Missouri Star Quilt Company as a Freelance Video Editor in 2021. Currently, Michelle is a Video Editor at Golden Peak Media: Creative Enthusiast Network, starting in 2023.

Michelle Garcia Briley attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast News Journalism.
