Terence O’Toole

The company was founded and is backed by Macanta Investments LLC, the investment vehicle for Terence M. O’Toole and his family. Terry is a long-time media investor, first as one of the founders of the private equity business at Goldman, Sachs & Co., and later for his own account. In addition to Golden Peak, other current Macanta media investments include Axios, VidMob, and RedShelf. Before becoming an investor, Terry was a journalist, including stints as a collegiate journalist, a stringer for the Associated Press, a sportswriter in his hometown of Newark, Delaware, a magazine editor, and a copy editor at the Wall Street Journal.
