Laura Escalante has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Laura started their career as a Care Coordinator at Mile High Behavioral Healthcare in 2014. Laura then moved on to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver where they held two positions: Program Manager and Intervention Site Program Manager. In 2017, Laura joined the City and County of Denver as a Case Manager and later became a Juvenile Diversion & Criminal Justice Officer. Laura then transitioned to TrueCare24, where they initially worked as a Mental Health Proposal Coordinator before becoming an Operations Manager, overseeing COVID-19 vaccination clinics. In 2022, Laura joined AbleLight as a Program Manager, responsible for supervising a team of host home providers for individuals with developmental disabilities. Laura also founded their own business support company, My Virtual Edge, LLC, where they served as a Founder and Business Support Consultant, focusing on administrative, marketing, and operational support for service-based industry leaders. Currently, Laura is working as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at Golden Software, where they manage the CEO's calendar, coordinates travel arrangements and company events, conducts industry trend research, collaborates with the marketing team, and assists in report and presentation preparation. Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to efficiency and delivering high-quality work.
Laura Escalante is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in General Psychology at Colorado State University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Medication Administration and Adult First Aid/CPR/AED from AbleLight in August 2022 and July 2022, respectively.
