Sheena Skinner

Sheena Skinner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sheena started their career as a Product Manager at PTB Management in 2014 and held this role until 2017. Sheena then joined the University of Colorado Boulder as a Research Intern, where they utilized Landsat imagery and weather station data to study the impact of sea surface temperature on the recession of Helheim Glacier. Sheena also worked as a Geology Lab Assistant and Tutor at Red Rocks Community College during this time.

In 2018, Sheena became a Teacher Assistant at Harvard Extension School, where they conducted virtual lectures, held office hours, and graded assignments for over one hundred students.

From 2019 to 2020, Sheena worked as a Student Lab Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, assisting in biogeochemical research projects and conducting gas chromatography. Simultaneously, they worked as a Student Biogeochemistry Lab Assistant at the U.S. Geological Survey, where they performed various tasks related to XRD sample preparation and analysis.

From 2021 to 2022, Sheena joined Maxar Technologies and held multiple roles, including Project Coordinator and Project Analyst. Sheena was responsible for coordinating projects and performing quality control tasks on 3D satellite imagery using proprietary software. Sheena also mentored newly hired quality control geospatial technicians.

Currently, Sheena works as a Product Manager at Golden Software starting from 2023.
