Emily Green

Dermatopathologist, Lab Director at Golden State Dermatology

Emily Green has a diverse work experience in the field of pathology and dermatopathology. Emily currently serves as the President of the California Society of Pathologists and has been a Board Member since 2017. In 2019, they joined Golden State Dermatology as a Dermatopathologist and Lab Director. From 2018 to 2021, Emily was a member of the College of American Pathologists' Digital Content Committee. Prior to that, they worked as a Physician Partner at Alta East Bay Pathology from 2014 to 2018. Emily also held the role of Chief Dermatopathology at David Grant Medical Center Travis Air Force Base from 2010 to 2014. Emily was a member of the Resident Forum executive Committee at the College of American Pathologists from 2009 to 2011. Emily completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology at the University of Chicago in 2010.

Emily Green's education history begins with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Saint Louis University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine and earned their MD degree in Medicine. Following this, they completed a Pathology Residency at Washington University in St. Louis from 2005 to 2009. Finally, Emily Green pursued a Fellowship in Dermatopathology at the University of Chicago for the year 2009-2010.
