Everett Dayton currently serves as the Assistant Director of Video/Analytics & Player Development Assistant for the New York Knicks, Inc. since July 2022. Previous experiences include roles as Team Development Assistant with the Golden State Warriors, Basketball Ops Assistant/Practice Player with the Santa Cruz Warriors, and Assistant Coach at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Notably, while with the Maine Red Claws, Everett led player-development sessions and prepared game walkthroughs. The Golden State Warriors organization is a charter member of the National Basketball Association. Founded in 1946, the Warriors called the city of Philadelphia home for 16 memorable years before moving to the West Coast in 1962 to become the San Francisco Warriors and ultimately, in 1971, the Golden State Warriors when the team moved to its current home in Oakland. The team’s storied history includes five NBA Championships, six of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players and 27 members of Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The Warriors also were recipients of the 2014 and 2016 Sports Team of the Year Award by the Sports Business Journal/Daily and recognized again this year as a Finalist for the award.
