Michael Scheinert

Michael Scheinert is an experienced professional in basketball strategy, currently serving as the Director of Basketball Strategy for the Golden State Warriors since June 2025. Prior to this role, Scheinert worked for the Detroit Pistons in various capacities, including Manager of Basketball Strategy and Basketball Analytics Coordinator, starting in September 2020. Experience also includes a role as a Basketball Operations Intern with the Pistons and a Summer Intern for the New York Mets in 2020. Scheinert gained foundational experience as a Student Manager for Duke Men's Basketball while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics at Duke University from 2016 to 2020, alongside a Football Research Internship with the Dallas Cowboys in 2019.
