George Zakhari, M.S., is an experienced Water Quality Engineer at Golden State Water Company since November 2017. Prior to this role, George served as an HSE Leader at Honeywell, where responsibilities included developing safety and environmental management systems and facilitating incident investigations. George also worked as a Process Engineer and EHS Leader at Momentive Performance Materials, overseeing an Environmental Health and Safety Program that achieved CAL/OSHA VPP Star Site status, and maintained compliance with relevant regulations. Earlier in career, George gained experience as a Quality Engineer at Phenomenex, developing applications for new products and collaborating with the EHS team on program implementation. George holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
