Joseph Zhao (Yu)

Joseph (Yu) Zhao is an experienced engineer specializing in water supply and treatment with a robust background in project management and municipal engineering. Currently serving as the Southwest District Operations Engineer at Golden State Water Company since March 2016, Joseph focuses on analyzing system operations to enhance service and efficiency. Previous roles include Project Manager at URS Corporation, where Joseph was integral to a prominent water business group in California, and Professional Associate at HDR. Earlier positions held also include Project Engineer at URS Corporation and Municipal Engineer in Shanghai, contributing to various significant water and wastewater projects. Joseph holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Central Florida, as well as an MS and BS in Environmental Engineering from Tongji University.
