Matthew Puffer is an experienced water conservation analyst and project lead with a career spanning several decades in water and energy efficiency. Currently serving at Golden State Water Company as a Water Conservation Analyst since May 2011, Matthew has led numerous initiatives impacting over 250,000 connections across California. Prior experience includes serving as President of Resource West, where Matthew provided consulting services for water and energy efficiency programs, and as Director of Program Development at Niagara Conservation, where innovative rebate and efficiency programs were implemented. Matthew's background also features roles in business development and operations management across various companies, including Bristol Park Industries, Elektryon, and ERI Services, along with a solid foundation in conservation efforts established during tenure at the Metropolitan Water District and Hi-Desert Water Company. Matthew holds a BA in Pre-Law with double majors in Political Science and English from Fort Lewis College.
