Al Sparks

Al Sparks has over 25 years of experience in systems and network engineering, currently serving as the Senior Systems and Network Engineering Supervisor at Golden Valley Electric Association since October 1997, providing industrial support for power plants and substations. Prior to this role, Al Sparks held the position of Assistant Chief at Chena Goldstream Fire and Rescue, contributing to volunteer fire and emergency medical services from December 1986 to August 2011. Earlier experience includes serving as Operations Manager at the UAF Division of Computing & Communications from 1991 to 1997. Al Sparks completed a degree at the University of Alaska Fairbanks between 1986 and 1992.
