Dean Ojala has extensive experience in safety and quality control within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Site Safety and Health Officer and Quality Control Inspector at American Health and Safety, LLC since May 2022, Dean holds various relevant certifications, including EM-385 and OSHA 30, 510, and 511. As Quality Control Manager at Golden Valley Electric Association since January 2018, Dean also has a background as a Safety Specialist and Compliance Officer at Flit Hills since July 2015, overseeing health and safety programs at Alaska Terminals. Previous roles at Flint Hills Resources from 2004 to 2012 included Production Coordinator and Shift Supervisor, focused on safety culture development and production efficiency for petroleum products.
