Kathryn Strle

Kathryn Strle is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Controller and Treasury Manager at Golden Valley Electric Association since May 2019, Kathryn previously held the positions of General Manager and Finance Officer at Fairbanks Daily News-Miner from May 2002 to May 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Human Resources Director at Tanana Chiefs Conference from August 1993 to May 2002 and as Business Manager at Alaska Aerofuel, Inc. from 1988 to 1993. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, earned between 1979 and 1984, and graduated from Lathrop High School in 1979.
